Today is the 83rd Birthday of a women who was called Mom by 2 children, Mamaw by 3 Grandaughters and Mamaw by 5 Gread Grandchildren. She is also known as Hon, sweetie, Aunt Frances, and Aunt Fran. She is someone who is also known to many as a true friend!

Happy 90th Birthday Grandma Margaret

Today is the 90th Birthday of a women 3 people call "Mom", 7 people call "Grandma" and 14 people call "Great Grandma" and an uncountable number call Friend!!!!!

Congrats and Welcome!!

We would like to welcome 2 new little boys into this world! First, on Friday, March 21 - Drew James was born. He is the first Grandson (child) to our dear friend Pat. I beleive Drew weight 7lbs and 2 oz. I am not clear on the rest of the details!

Secondly, today Sunday, March 23 Dylan Michael was born at 3:29 Texas time weighing 7lbs and 13 oz - 19.5 inches long! Dylan is the first son of our dear friends Mike and Melissa in Texas (also known as Uncle Ogre and Aunt Ogress). Now we have baby boy Ogre!!!

We are so happy for all of you! It is an amazing gift, I can not remember what my life was like before Emmalee - or Josh and Brad for that matter. Cherish every minute!!! Children are so unique and special!!!

Congratulations! We are happy to know both boys and their Mommy's are doing well. Are love to all!

Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend and Day filled with fun, friends, family and faith! As you saw on Friday we colored Easter eggs with Aunt Sarah and Hunter. On Saturday we joined Aunt Sarah and Hunter for breakfast and then we went to a community Easter Egg Hunt at Gilbert High School. Wendy (Emmalee's babysitter) and her daughters Heavin and Hailey met us there for some fun! It was a beautiful day (a little warm) but we all had a wonderful time. As you can see they even had bouncies - one was just the right size for Emmalee, she did not want to leave once she figured out it was okay to bounce. She has been in them before but it has been with her older brothers - this time she was on her own.

Emmalee awoke to find the Easter Bunny had delivered an Easter basket in her room. Before we got her out of her bed I kept asking her if the Easter Bunny had come to visit and she kept telling me "No" When we picked her up out of her bed she saw the basket, she looked at it a couple of times and then smiled at Rob and I and said "More Pease" - I don't know how she knew it was something to eat but she did. Daddy gave her a whole peanut butter chocolate egg and she loved every bite of it. Papa Jim, Nana Phyllis came over and helped cook and clean. Kelly (my cousin on my Mom's side of the family) and her husband Justin along with one of our best friends - Dennis and the boys joined us for dinner- We had nine in all. It was a very nice day, we had dinner outside on the back patio - the weather was wonderful! I have to say the Ham turned out fantastic. We hope you had a wonderful Easter!!!

Coloring Easter Eggs!!!

Friday, March 21st Hunter and Aunt Sarah came over and brought Emmalee an Easter Basket and we colored Easter Eggs. Hunter had to assist Emmalee in finding her Easter Basket, she was not sure what to do with it. Once she figured out it was for her she really enjoyed it. We then decided to color Easter Eggs.... again Emmalee was not sure what to do but soon figured it out.Look at all of the pretty colors Mom - she even decided that she and I needed to be colored Blue! Emmalee's favorite color was whatever color she could get her hands on. Hunter did a wonderful job of mixing colors and then putting sticker eyes on the eggs. Papa Jim even joined us and wore a few colors. Emmalee really wanted to eat the colors - she saw the spoons we were using and thought they meant she could eat. Papa Jim made sure Emmalee's tongue did not turn colors!All of our beautiful Easter Eggs! Now we just have to wait for the Easter Egg Hunt!!!After we colored Easter Eggs, We got the bubbles out and had some fun!!!!Papa Jim teaching Hunter and Emmalee how to blow big bubbles!

Walking in my brothers shoes

Talk about having large shoes to fill. Emmalee has a shoe fetish (she does not get this from me, but from her cousin Jenna) Emmalee loves to put on shoes and try and walk around. Josh wears a size 10 - 11 shoe so as you can see she has some room to grow!!!!

Bubbles!!!!

I spent some time playing with my brother Bradley - He was having a lot of fun playing with bubbles!!! Emmalee thought the bubbles were great but could not understand why she could not catch them.

Josh's birthday!

We had dinner at Bass Pro Shops - Restaurant and then walked around the store. When we got home we had some cake and ice cream and Josh was allowed to open his presents. The second picutre is a metal framed skate boarder. We hope you had a great birthday Josh!

Happy 17th Birthday Josh!

Today is Joshua's 17th Birthday! We hope you have a wonderful day! You are a terrific young man and we are all Very Very Proud of You!!! May all of your wishes come true! We love you!

We all went to dinner at the Fish Co at Bass Pro Shop and walked around the store. We had a very delicious dinner! We had cake and ice cream and Josh opened his presents!!!! It was a busy but Great Day!!

Trying new things!

Emmalee is very curious.... We had flowers for Papa Jim and Nana's anniversary and she wanted to touch them, smell them, and even try and eat them....

We then found some bubbles and Emmalee thought they were alot of fun until they started POPPING!!! She wanted to hold them.

Emmalee then decided she wanted to help pull weeds, leaves dirt what ever she could find. The funny thing was she would get a handful and then walk into the house and throw it in the trash can.

Grandma Rosemary and Grandpa Al came to visit!

On February 13th Grandma Rosemary and Grandpa Al came to visit us! It was so wonderful to have them here! We sure wish they lived closer so we could see them more often. They drove to Sedona for Valentines day and then Emmalee, Grandma Rosemary, Grandpa Al and I went to Fountain Hills on Friday and had a very nice lunch and saw the fountain. On Saturday, Rob, Josh, Brad, Emmalee, Grandma Rosemary, Grandpa Al and I (in 2 cars) drove by Canyon Lake to Tortilla Flatt - we were hoping to eat lunch but it was soooo busy we drove back and ate at Red Robin. The Lake is full - something we have not seen in quite a long time! Sunday was mellow - Rob golfed and Grandma Rosemary took Josh shopping while I took Bradley to a birthday party for his best friend Zack and then did a WATSU! We had a very nice dinner that Grandma Rosemary prepared - a Roast with baked potato's and green beans. (Papa Jim and Nana joined us for dinner). Josh slammed his finger in the car door while shopping with Grandma! He did a really good job on it! OUCH!!! Monday morning meant Grandma Rosemary and Grandpa Al had to go home = ( We sure do miss you guys already!!! We hope you we be back to visit us soon! We love you!
