When ever anyone wants to jump on the Trampoline without Emmalee they have to spell it and sneak out of the house!!! She loves bouncing with the big kids! Josh, Brad, and Jenna are really good with her on the Trampline - It is amazing how high she can bounce (on her own that is) We tend to go out and bounce when we are home alone as well... Emmalee likes it when Mommy or Daddy pick an orange and eat it together on the trampoline! Here are some pictures of Emmalee bouncing like T-I-G-G-E-R - that T- I doube G "ER"

Emmalee..... and Play Dough!

One of the many things Emmalee enjoys doing is playing with Play Dough! I enjoy setting out the mat and letting her play... She is only allowed two colors at a time and see really likes it when Mommy rolls the play dough into balls... I love it, she has all of these cool gadgets and she wants little and big play dough balls!

Bradley's New Room!

We have been doing some home remodeling or building. Bradley and Josh both wanted there own rooms so Rob went to work building a room, with help from Papa Jim and myself. Oh yeah, Aunt Jodie and Jenna helped with cutting our wood floors.... yes we cut and removed the wood floor in the front room of the house. Here are pictures of all the hard work. After cutting and removing the hardwood floor we had to frame in the room... the above picture is where the door is (left side of the picture.. we were limited because of the pocket door that leads into the hallway.This picture is of the closet and the electrical work that Rob did.. he installed 2 different outlets and 2 different light switches.This is the closet with drywall - and don't forget the new ceiling fan in Bradley's room!

This is the view from the front door turning Left - it is now a hallway!!! connecting to the main hallway for the bedrooms!

The closet with mud!!!! The mud/texture job that Rob and Dad did is excellent! They also did a terrific job on all of the seams!!! It is amazing, you would never know we added on the room if you had never been to our house.

After all of the mudding came painting! Yes, Bradley picked out the color! Rob's buddy Chuck (who is hispanic) said - it looks like a Mexican Restaurant! = )

Next came carpet - Rob and Chuck laid the carpet and then we moved him in!!!! I will take some pictures of all the furniture in the room!

Chihuly Glass at The Desert Botanical Gardens

Sunday, January 11, 2009 Aunt Jodie, Jenna, Aunt Sarah, Hunter, Mommy and I went to the Desert Botanical Gardens to see the Chihuly Glass! It was amazing and very colorful! One of the incredible things to me is that the artistist is blind in one eye! He has pieces of his art work all of the place! Aunt Jodie, Aunt Sarah, and Mommy had a blast taking pictures!! Playing at the Park

Happy 2009 - Where has all of the time gone??? I can't beleive it is already the 19th of January! I am off work today so I am making an effort to update my blog and one of my intentions for 2009 is to update this on a more timely basis! So wish me luck, I have already slipped behind a little!

On January 2, Hunter, Aunt Sarah, Emmalee and I went to play in the park. Emmalee loved climbing all over everything. Hunter and Emmalee searched for pinecones and placed them all on the picnic table. They wanted to bring them all home to show Daddy but Aunt Sarah and I were able to avoid the truck full of pinecones! (whew). Emmalee loved going down the slides all by herself. She is growing up so fast!!!! She is very tall for a two year old! And man is she smart - I know I am her mother but still she blows me away with some of the things she says!!!

She seems to have a nickname from everyone she meets and she doesn't want someone else calling her your nickname!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! - 2009

We celebrated the New Year quietly!! We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful New Years!  May 2009 bring you and your family joy, love and happiness!

Merry Christmas!!!

We hope everyone had a terrific Christmas!!!  Santa came to visit and Emmalee was not sure how much she liked that until she found her presents from Santa!!!!  We had a great day!  Josh and Brad spent Christmas Eve with their Mom and came home about 10:30 in the morning!  We all enjoyed Diane's "Sticky buns" and then all 11 of us sat in our front room and opened our Christmas presents!  Emmalee was very excited and overwhelmed - She wanted to open every package and play with them.... She made out like a bandit!  She had asked Santa for a bicycle but Papa Jim and Nana beat Santa to the store, when she opened it she was very happy to have her bike!  Grandma Rosemary and Grandpa Al got her a kitchen with dishes and she loves all of the pieces that go with it.  

It was great to have James home for Christmas!!!  All of the kids (Josh, James, Brad and Jenna made out extremely well also)  I know everyone was really happy and enjoyed being together.
